DIY: Jasmine Pure-Fume
Making your own pure-fume is so easy and simple and much better for the health of yourself and your family
.
Many products on the market that you use contain chemicals that you really don’t want to be using. These are products that we trust using as safe with our families but on closer inspection they are far from it.
A lot of store bought perfumes/colognes contain Fragrance – the term Fragrance can be used to mask undisclosed ingredients that are usually synthetic and chemicals that can have significant health effects on our bodies. “Fragrance” is considered a trade secret by law, so companies are not required to disclose the chemical components that add scent to a wide range of personal care products. According to the Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep database, an estimated 80% of products – everything from colognes and body sprays, to shampoos, deodorants, and even make-up – contain fragrance.
Don’t stress if you have used these products in the past. Many of us have, but now that you know better, look for natural alternatives.
